The “Opticianry Program Alumni Share Their Experiences” event, organized by the Opticianry Program of Bartın University Vocational School of Health Services, was held as a meaningful and productive gathering that brought alumni and students together under the same roof. The event took place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM, with the participation of the program’s academic staff, Associate Professor Mustafa Şenay and Assistant Professor İsmail Kabaçelik, along with graduates and current opticianry students.

During the event, alumni shared their educational experiences, challenges they encountered, and memorable moments from their student years, providing valuable insights into professional development for current students. One of our graduates, İskender Koyun, delivered an inspiring presentation by sharing his professional experiences in the opticianry sector, offering guidance and motivation to the students.

Throughout the program, a warm and interactive atmosphere was established among alumni, students, and academics. Comprehensive discussions were held on current developments in the field of opticianry, technological innovations, and emerging trends within the sector. The event not only strengthened students’ perspectives on their future profession but also reinforced the alumni’s connection with the university.

It was once again observed that alumni gatherings make significant contributions to strengthening institutional belonging, enhancing professional solidarity, and sustaining a culture of knowledge sharing.
